How to collect email header files from Microsoft 365 (M365)

🛡️ Microsoft 365 (M365 – Outlook / OWA)

📍 Method 1: Outlook on the Web (OWA)

✅ Steps:

  1. Go to https://outlook.office.com and log in.

  2. Open the email in question.

  3. Click the three dots (More Actions) in the top-right of the message window.

  4. Select View > View message details or View > View message source.

  1. A new window will open with the full message header.

  2. Copy all contents and paste into Notepad or an analyzer tool like https://mha.azurewebsites.net.


📍 Method 2: Outlook Desktop App

✅ Steps:

  1. Open Outlook desktop.

  2. Double-click the email to open it in a new window.

  3. Go to File > Properties.

  4. Under the Internet headers section, copy the full block of text.
