How to do email log search in google

1. Sign in to Google Admin Console

2. Navigate to Email Log Search Tool

  • From the Admin console home, go to:

    Reports > Audit > Email Log Search

3. Set Your Search Criteria

You can search based on the following filters:

  • Date range (up to the past 30 days)

  • Sender/Recipient email address

  • Subject line (optional)

  • Message ID (optional, if available from email headers)

4. Click on “Search”

  • You'll see a list of emails that match your filters.

5. View Email Details

  • Click on an entry to view:

    • Message delivery status (delivered, deferred, bounced, etc.)

    • Delivery route

    • Timestamp

    • IP addresses

    • Gmail Message ID

    • SMTP response
